AUTHORIZE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH CONNEXUS ENERGY IN THE AMOUNT OF $111,996.00 FOR PARKING LOT AND TRAIL LIGHTING AND ELECTRICAL FEED AND CONTROL CABINET FOR SCOREBOARDS AT THE LEXINGTON ATHLETIC COMPLEX, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 12-14
Background
Staff received a proposal from Connexus Energy to install outdoor lighting for the parking lots and trails at the Lexington Athletic Complex. Connexus Energy will install, retain ownership, and provide onging maintenance of the (26) lights under their monthly energy and maintenance rate. The proposal includes total material, labor, electrical feed and control cabinet for the scoreboards.
Recommendation
By motion, authorize the City Manager to enter into contract with Connexus Energy in the amount of $111,996.00 to provide parking lot and trail lighting at the Lexington Athletic Complex.
