ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL FROM SURFACE PRO FOR RESURFACING OF THE TENNIS COURTS (4) AT JIM PETERSON ATHLETIC COMPLEX IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $22,400
Background
The four tennis courts at Jim Peterson Athletic Complex are now ten years old and are in need of resurfacing. The cost to resurface the four tennis courts will be $22,400 from Surface Pro who was the low proposer on the project.
The funds for the resurfacing will come from the newly amended 2018 Parks and Trails tax levy that the City Council approved at tonight’s meeting.
Other bid received from Court Doctors came in at $31,250.
Recommendation
By motion, accept the proposal from Surface Pro and approve the expenditure for resurfacing of the tennis courts (4) at Jim Peterson Athletic Complex in an amount not to exceed $22,400.
