Background

A petition dated April 26, 2018, was submitted to the City by Eagle Brook Church of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, requesting vacation of a portion of a drainage and utility easement for expansion of the existing parking lot.  The applicant represents 100% of the affected property abutting this easement.

Recommendation

By motion, adopt the Resolution.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition dated the 26 day of April, 2018, requesting vacation of drainage and utility easement at Outlot A, Blaine Preserve Business Park Third Addition, and Lot 1, Block 1, Eagle Brook Church Blaine Campus; and

 

                     WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has reviewed the petition and recommends that the City Council hold a Public Hearing on the requested vacation.

 

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Blaine as follows:

 

1.                     The Council will consider the petitioned vacation of easements for the property owner.

 

2.                     A Public Hearing shall be held on the proposed vacation at 7:30 PM on the 21st day of June, 2018 and the City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and vacation as required by law.
