Background
The applicant, Aliye Suleman Ali, 8203 Vincent Avenue N, Brooklyn Park, MN has submitted a renewal application for a Tobacco and Tobacco Products license for Neighborhood Dollar Plus Grocery store located at 10835 University Avenue NE, Blaine. The applicant has met the licensing requirements by depositing a fee of $150 with the City and by completing all necessary forms.
Although Mr. Suleman was sent several emails and a letter in October and November, 2011 reminding him of the deadline to renew his tobacco license, he did not respond, therefore his 2012 tobacco license was not renewed on December 15, 2011. He is requesting to approve his tobacco license at this time.
