APPROVAL OF CARNIVAL LICENSE FOR GOPHER STATE EXPOSITIONS, AT NORTHTOWN MALL, 100 NORTHTOWN DRIVE NE
Background
Randy Arthur Forcier, owner of Gopher State Expositions, Inc., has submitted an application to hold a carnival at Northtown Mall from May 3 to May 6 and May 10 to May 13, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.
The applicant has deposited with the City a $900 license fee, a certificate of liability insurance naming the City as an additional insured, and all other application materials. A background check has been completed by the Police Department and no problems or complaints are on file that would prohibit the issuance of a license. An inspection will be completed by the Deputy Fire Marshal during carnival set-up prior to release of the license.
Recommendation
By motion, approve the carnival license for Gopher State Expositions, Inc. at Northtown Mall, May 3 to May 6 and May 10 to May 13, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.
