TRAFFIC STUDY UPDATE

ASPEN LAKE DRIVE AND 116^TH AVENUE

Background

At the April 3, 2014 Council Workshop, staff was directed to prepare a temporary closure plan that creates a right out only from 116^th Avenue to Radisson Road.  The attached drawing was prepared and submitted to Anoka County Highway Department for preliminary comments.   We received one quote from a sign rental company to provide a cost estimate for Council.  The first month rental on the temporary signage is estimated to be $1,500 and $1,350 for each additional month.

Because this proposal would be a significant change to the public roadway system, a neighborhood information meeting should be scheduled to inform adjacent neighborhoods of the changes.
