Council is asked to approve the amusement center license for The Fun Lab.
Background
Andrew Walker, The Fun Lab Inc. dba The Fun Lab, has submitted an application for an amusement center license to operate an indoor amusement center at 10650 Baltimore Street. James Webber, previous owner of The Fun Lab, will be the responsible party and is partnering with Mr. Walker to reopen The Fun Lab.
The applicant has submitted a fee of $720.00 for 38 devices and has submitted all necessary documentation required by city ordinance. The applicant intends to open in June 2021, pending the certificate of occupancy. The applicant also intends to submit an application for a wine and beer license prior to opening.
Hours of operation will vary but core hours will be 10AM-8PM Monday through Thursday and later on Fridays and weekends. Proposed games will include a combination of arcade games and redemption games such as air hockey, basketball game, motorcycle racing game, cranes/claw, climbing wall, laser tag, and others.
