ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH 292 DESIGN GROUP TO PERFORM A PROGRAMMING AND SPACE PLANNING STUDY FOR CITY HALL IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $24,200
Background
As part of looking at future staffing and space needs, staff is recommending to have an architect assist in utilizing our existing City Hall space most efficiently and also look at how and when the third floor space should be utilized.
At discussion at a recent workshop meeting, staff presented a proposal from 292 Design Group, which is made up of some of the principals who designed City Hall, in the amount of $23,400 plus $800 in expenses to perform this study. As stated at the workshop meeting, funds would come from our Building Maintenance budget.
Recommendation
By motion, enter into agreement and authorize payment to 292 Design Group to perform a programming and space planning study for City Hall in an amount not to exceed $24,200.
