Background
In the original bid documents for Lexington Athletic Complex there was a line item of $25,000 for batting cages. The project is now at the point to construct the cages. Three quotes were received from Just Rite Fence, American Fence and Century Fence Company. Century Fence Company bid $16,690 without the netting for cages and $20, 942 with the netting for two cages. Just Rite quoted us $20, 290 without netting and American Fence quoted us $19,200 without netting.
Recommendation
By motion, accept the proposal from Century Fence Company for fencing and netting for the Lexington Athletic Complex batting cages in the amount of $20,942.
