Background
A Request for Proposal (RFP) for consultant services to develop Harpers Park was sent to four companies; all submitted proposals. Below were the consultant costs by each company to develop Harpers Park:
SRF Consulting Group, Inc. - $24,972
Carlson-McCain - $20,600
Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. - $19,440
Pioneering Engineering - $17,085
All proposals were reviewed by City staff and they all met the required components. Staff is recommending the City Council accept the proposal from Pioneer Engineering based on the proposal being the lowest bid at $17,085.
Recommendation
By motion, authorize City Manager to enter into contract with Pioneer Engineering in a not-to-exceed amount of $17,085 in accordance with their proposal dated March 9, 2015 regarding professional services for Harpers Park.
