Background

Margaret Kelly, applicant for St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, has filed an application for a Temporary On-Sale Intoxicating and 3.2 Percent Malt Liquor License for St. Timothy’s Volunteer Appreciation Dinner to be held at 707 - 89^th Avenue NE from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018.

The applicant has deposited with the City a $50 license fee and a certificate of insurance (liquor liability) covering this event.  The City has been named as an additional insured on the certificate of insurance.

The church will be serving wine as part of the dinner and approximately 350 people are expected to attend the event.

Recommendation

By motion, approve a Temporary On-Sale Intoxicating and 3.2 Percent Malt Liquor License for St. Timothy’s parish dinner event, 707 - 89^th Avenue NE, to be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018.
