Title
AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH RICE CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT FOR DITCH INSPECTIONS
Background
The City has had an agreement with Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) since 2012 to perform ditch inspections for the City. RCWD and the City are proposing to enter into another five year ditch inspection schedule. The RCWD Board approved this agreement at their December meeting. The City will still be responsible for the on-going physical performance of these ditches and any repairs, changes, or alterations to them.
Recommendation
By motion, authorize the Mayor and City Manager to contract with Rice Creek Watershed District for five additional years of ditch inspections.
