Background
A public hearing is required by ordinance prior to the approval of an On-Sale Wine, 3.2% Malt Liquor On-Sale and Sunday Liquor Licenses in the City of Blaine.
John Fehrman, new owner/applicant for Dixie Blue, Inc. has submitted an application for an On-Sale Wine, 3.2% Malt Liquor On-Sale and Sunday on-sale licenses for the restaurant located at 2330 Cloud Drive, #101, Blaine, Minnesota. The applicant has submitted a completed license application, and the license fee of $2,100. The required certificate of insurance for liquor liability and all required forms and documents have been received and are on file in our office.
The Police Department background investigation has not yet been completed. The license, if approved, is contingent upon a successful background investigation, fire inspection, and Certificate of Occupancy.
All required information will be submitted to the State Liquor Control Department upon approval of the license by the Council.
Recommendation
Hold a public hearing to receive input then approve issuance of an On-Sale Wine, 3.2% Malt Liquor On-Sale and Sunday licenses for the new owner of Dixie Blue, Inc. dba Dixie Blue BBQ & Catering, 2330 Cloud Drive, #101, Blaine, Minnesota.
