Background
The Public Hearing was held on August 16, 2012 and no public comments were received on this vacation request. The vacation of drainage and utility easements is being requested to allow for replatting of the property into Woodland Village 2nd Addition. New easements will be recorded for the new lot configuration with the plat of Woodland Village 2nd Addition.
Ordinance No. 12-2252 was introduced for first reading at the August 16, 2012 Council meeting and is presented at this time for adoption.

Chapter 197 - Vacation of Drainage and Utility Easements
197.01- All Drainage and Utility Easements as dedicated on the plat of GARDENWOOD, according to the recorded plat thereof, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying over, under, and across Lots 9, 10, 11, and 12, Block 3; Lot 1, Block 5, and Outlot J, said plat.
All Drainage and Utility Easements as dedicated on the plat of GARDENWOOD SECOND ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof Anoka County, Minnesota, lying over, under, and across Lot 1, Block 2, said plat.
197.02 - Said vacation has been made after Notice of Public Hearing in conformance with Minnesota Statutes and pursuant to Chapter 12, Section 12.06, of the City Charter of the City of Blaine.
