Background
Craig 3rd Addition is a small industrial plat developed in 1978. A land/building sale is occurring on one of the lots and the City is being asked by the buyer’s title company to release the old development agreement.
This request occurs on a fairly regular basis and Anoka County (records division) requires that the City officially approve the release. The City Council is being asked to adopt a resolution that authorizes the Mayor and Clerk to execute the release. There are no remaining development issues related to Craig 3rd Addition.

Recommendation
By motion, approve the Resolution.
Body
WHEREAS, certain the lots contained by Craig 3rd Addition are subject to a Development Agreement from the plat approval for Craig 3rd Additions and,
WHEREAS, the City has been requested to release the lots contained in Craig 3rd Addition from the recorded development agreement (Document No. 507427) and;
WHEREAS, the City has determined that there are no outstanding development issues related to Craig 3rd Addition and therefore no further purpose for the agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Blaine City Council authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the necessary documents releasing all of the lots contained by Craig 3rd Addition from the Development Agreement for Craig 3rd Addition.
