AUTHORIZE CHANGE ORDER NO. 4 IN THE AMOUNT OF $45,613.06 FOR THE AQUATORE PARK SOFTBALL CONSTRUCTION AT 9191 LINCOLN STREET, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 12-09
Background
On May 15, 2014, this project was awarded to Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $471,105.76 via Resolution No. 14-089. There have been three previous change orders on the project. Final quantities for the project have been verified and Change Order No. 4 is needed to authorize the final contract payment. Also included in the Change Order is extra irrigation work, security lights for shed, metal dugout roofs (originally included in the bid as an alternate) and additional soil corrections under trails. The current authorized contract amount is $526,502.04. Change Order 4 will increase the amount by $45,613.06 for a final contract total of $572,115.10.
Recommendation
By motion, approve Change Order No. 4 in the amount of $45,613.06 amending the total contract amount to $572,115.10, and authorizing the Public Services Manager to sign said Change Order No. 4.
