WSB PRESENTATION ON 105^TH AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 14-11

Background

On October 16, 2014, Council authorized contracting with WSB & Associates, Inc. for preliminary and final design for the reconstruction of 105^th Avenue from TH 65 to Radisson Road.  WSB presented a preliminary layout at the December 18, 2014 Council Workshop to review and receive comment prior to holding an open house.

WSB will be attending this Workshop to present a 30% preliminary design, review corridor access management, review findings of soil borings, discuss design elements of constructing a pedestrian tunnel, and streetscape elements to enhance pedestrian movements throughout the project corridor.

Recommendation

Council review and comment on preliminary design elements prior to the second open house scheduled for March 25^th from 3:30 to 5:00 PM.  Review and discuss streetscape elements to incorporate into final design.
