Background
The original contract that the City signed with Barr Engineering Co. for design of the Northeast area well field included $59,000 for the design of wells 18 and 19 but did not include design services for wells 20 and 21. City Council directed staff to proceed with the construction of wells 20 and 21 in conjunction with the construction of wells 18 and 19. This agreement is for the design services for wells 20 and 21.
Recommendation
By motion, authorize the Mayor and City Manager to enter into an agreement with Barr Engineering for Design Services for Wells 20 & 21, Northeast Wellfield in the not to exceed amount of $52,000 in accordance with their proposal dated November 1, 2017.
