APPROVE A TOBACCO AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS LICENSE FOR MPA, INC. DBA FAST TRIP, 9850 POLK STREET NE

Background

Alice Masih, applicant, 1650 145^th Lane NW, Andover, has submitted an application for a tobacco and tobacco products license for the MPA, Inc. dba Fast Trip located at 9850 Polk Street NE.  The applicant is purchasing the existing business and has met the licensing requirements by completing all necessary forms and depositing the fee with the City.

The Blaine Police Department has conducted a background investigation on the applicant and found nothing to prohibit issuance of the license.  Approval of the tobacco license will be contingent a Certificate of Occupancy Walk-Through Permit by the Building Inspections and Fire Departments.

Recommendation

By motion, approve a tobacco and tobacco products license for MPA, Inc. dba Fast Trip at 9850 Polk Street NE.
