Background

Wal-Mart Stores Inc., 702 SW 8^th Street, Bentonville, Arkansas has submitted an application and all supporting documentation for an Off-Sale 3.2 Percent Malt Beverage license.

The applicant has deposited the $75 license fee with the City, evidence of liquor liability insurance, and has completed all forms to meet licensing requirements.  The Police Department completed a background check and there was nothing to prohibit the issuance of a license.

Recommendation

By motion, approve the issuance of an Off-Sale 3.2 percent Malt beverage license for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., 11505 Ulysses Street NE, Blaine.
