Title
AUTHORIZE STAFF TO ENTER INTO A 5-YEAR SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT AGREEMENT WITH CRW, INC.
Background
Trakit® is the software used in Building Inspections, Community Standards, Engineering, Planning, and the City Clerk's office, to issue and track permits, licenses, and inspections activities. The maintenance includes upgrade rights for 25 clients, server software, and all the software required for the application as well as technical support for all components.
This agreement would be in effect from 8/1/2015 through 7/31/2020. The first year fee is an increase of 2.5% over the previous year. Each succeeding year is also a 2.5% increase.
Recommendation
By motion, approve the five-year software maintenance & support agreement with CRW, Inc.
