VACATION NO. V13-06
Background
A petition date November 18, 2013, was submitted to the City by Hans Hagen Homes of Fridley, Minnesota requesting vacation of street right-of-way. This vacation is being requested as the adjacent property is being replatted as The Lakes of Radisson Fifty-Eighth Addition and a portion of right-of-way is no longer needed. The property owner represents a majority of the affected property owners abutting this easement.

Recommendation
By motion, approve the Resolution.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition dated the 18th day of November, 2013, requesting vacation of street right-of-way for Lakes Parkway as dedicated in the Lakes of Radisson Twentieth Addition; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has reviewed the petition and recommends that the City Council hold a Public Hearing on the requested vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Blaine as follows:
1. The Council will consider the petitioned vacation of street right-of-way for the property owner.
2. A Public Hearing shall be held on the proposed vacation at 8:00 PM on the 6th day of March, 2014, and the City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and vacation as required by law.
