AUTHORIZE A CHANGE ORDER TO CARLSON MCCAIN IN THE AMOUNT OF $37,500 FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES FOR THE LEXINGTON ATHLETIC COMPLEX
Background
Since the project's inception in August of 2012 there have been many significant changes to the Lexington Athletic Complex site. Two major areas that have been modified have been the Architectural portion along with the Engineering design. We have made changes to the building design and size along with modifying wetland requests, soil grading and multiple revisions to the overall plans. The initial bid for this project from Carlson McCain was $162,750 in 2012.
Recommendation
By motion, authorize a change order to Carlson McCain in an amount not to exceed $37,500 for additional services on the Lexington Athletic Complex.
