CONFIRM MAYORAL APPOINTMENTS TO THE 2012 NATURAL RESOURCE CONSERVATION BOARD
Background
At the February 2, 2012 City Council meeting, Mayor Ryan announced two-year appointments of Gene Rafferty, District 1, Grace Schrunk, District 2, and Kimberly Gunter, District 3 to the Natural Resource Conservation Board.
The appointees' current terms expire on March 31, 2012. The appointees will receive their oaths of office prior to the first meeting of their new term which will begin on April 17, 2012.
All Natural Resource Conservation Board appointee's terms shall expire in March of each year when a successor is qualified. Those confirmed on February 16, 2012 will expire in March 2014.
Recommendation
Move to confirm the Mayor's two-year appointments of Gene Rafferty, District 1, Grace Schrunk, District 2, and Kimberly Gunter, District 3.
