APPROVE 2012 DUST CONTROL
Background
The 2012 dust control was applied the first week of July, after a demonstration of an alternative product was deemed unacceptable. Envirotech applied 14,794 gallons of magnesium chloride to approximately 5 miles of the City's gravel roads. The cost of the application was $.75 per gallon or $11,095.50. This is a budgeted item for 2012, and adequate funds exist to pay for this service.
