APPROVE TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF LAKES PARKWAY FOR THE 2017 BLAINE TRIATHLON
Background
Blaine Triathlon is an annual event sponsored by the City Parks and Recreation Department. To help facilitate a safe environment for participants, it is proposed to close a small portion of Lakes Parkway for the event. The closure will be from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM on September 9, 2017. A detour will be posted to facilitate through traffic. The Parks Department will coordinate the closure with the City's Engineering and Public Safety Department. A map showing the proposed closure is attached.
