Background

A petition dated March 30, 2018, was submitted to the City by Donald Kveton, representing N & D Management LLC, requesting vacation of drainage and utility easements for re-platting into single-family residential properties.  The applicant represents 100% of the affected property abutting this easement.

Recommendation

By motion, adopt the Resolution.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition dated the 30th day of March 2018, requesting vacation of drainage and utility easement for the East 387.00 Feet of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 18, Township 31, Range 23 for Creekside Addition; and

 

                     WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has reviewed the petition and recommends that the City Council hold a Public Hearing on the requested vacation.

 

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Blaine as follows:

 

1.                     The Council will consider the petitioned vacation of easements for the property owner.

 

2.                     A Public Hearing shall be held on the proposed vacation at 7:30 PM on the 17th day of May, 2018 and the City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and vacation as required by law.
