APPROVE A VENDING TRUCK LICENSE FOR BECKY'S SWEET TREATS

Background

The applicant, Becky Conlee, owner/operator of Becky's Sweet Treats, 1847 140^th Lane NE, Ham Lake has applied for a vending truck license in the City of Blaine.  She has deposited a $75 fee and all application materials to operate one vending truck within the City.  The applicant has complied with code requirements relative to liability insurance and has shown proof of a food handler's license through the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, Dairy and Food Inspection Division.  

A background check was completed on Ms. Conlee by the Blaine Police Department, which came back with no issues or concerns on the part of the Police Department.  This vending license shall be effective May 1, 2012 through April 30, 2013.

Recommendation

By motion, approve a vending truck license for Becky Conlee of Becky's Sweet Treats, 1847 140^th Lane NE, Ham Lake.
