Title
APPROVE A CARNIVAL LICENSE FOR GOPHER STATE EXPOSITIONS AT NORTHTOWN MALL
Background
Randy Arthur Forcier, owner of Gopher State Expositions, Inc., has submitted an application to hold a carnival at Northtown Mall May 23rd through May 27th and May 30th through June 2, 2013. The applicant will not be running the carnival May 28th and 29th.
The applicant has deposited with the City a $900 license fee, a certificate of liability insurance naming the City as an additional insured, and all other application materials. A background check has been completed by the Police Department and no problems or complaints are on file that would prohibit the issuance of a license. An inspection will be completed by the Deputy Fire Marshal during carnival set-up prior to release of the license.
Recommendation
By motion approve the carnival license for Gopher State Expositions at Northtown Mall, May 23rd thru May 27th and May 30th thru June 2, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.
