Background
A petition dated February 7, 2013, was submitted to the City by Meridian Land Holdings, LLC of Bloomington, Minnesota requesting vacation of drainage and utility easements. This vacation is being requested because the land is being replatted with The Lakes of Radisson 55th Addition. The applicant is a single property owner who represents 100% of the affected property abutting this easement.

Recommendation
By motion, approve the Resolution.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition dated the 7th day of February, 2013, requesting vacation of drainage and utility easements for Outlot A, Chain of the Lakes Addition; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has reviewed the petition and recommends that the City Council hold a Public Hearing on the requested vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Blaine as follows:
1. The Council will consider the petitioned vacation of drainage and utility easements for the property owner.
2. A Public Hearing shall be held on the proposed vacation at 8:00 PM on the 4th day of April, 2013, and the City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and vacation as required by law.
