ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 54, PARKS AND RECREATION; ARTICLE I, IN GENERAL, SECTION 54-1, PARK LAND DESIGNATED, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BLAINE

 

Background

During a review of City Code it was discovered that second reading and adoption of Ordinance 13-2257 did not occur in 2013 as Council had requested further discussion at a workshop.  Council discussed this topic at the December 18, 2015, workshop and gave staff direction to complete this process and bring forward the ordinance for adoption.  First reading was held on January 7, 2016, and since first reading three few minor changes have been made in addition to those presented:

 

32-31-23-21-0012 - Aquatore Park - PIN no longer exists

07-31-23-23-0145 -Happy Acres Park - typo in PIN

32-31-23-32-0012 - Laddie Lake Park - additional PIN

 

Recommendation

Hold second reading and adopt the proposed ordinance.
