Background
A petition dated July 1, 2014, was submitted to the City by Village Bank of Blaine requesting vacation of drainage and utility easements and street right-of-way. This vacation is being requested for replatting and redevelopment for The Lakes of Radisson 59th Addition. The applicant is a single property owner who represents 100% of the affected property abutting this easement.

Recommendation
By motion, approve the Resolution.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition dated the 1st day of July, 2014, requesting vacation of drainage and utility easements and street right-of-way for Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, The Lakes of Radisson Commercial Park; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has reviewed the petition and recommends that the City Council hold a Public Hearing on the requested vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Blaine as follows:
1. The Council will consider the petitioned vacation of drainage and utility easements and street right-of-way for the property owner.
2. A Public Hearing shall be held on the proposed vacation at 8:00 p.m. on the 4th day of September, 2014, and the City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and vacation as required by law.
