APPROVE RENEWAL OF CURRENCY EXCHANGE LICENSES
Background
Staff has received the attached correspondence and a copy of the license renewals from the Department of Commerce for Al'$ Check Cashing, and SJB Enterprises Inc., d/b/a Your Exchange. State statute requires the City to approve the renewal requests prior to the state issuing license renewals. The Police Department has reviewed their files regarding these locations and has no concerns regarding the renewals.
Recommendation
By motion, approve the Department of Commerce Currency Exchange License renewals for Al'$ Check Cashing, and SJB Enterprises Inc., dba Your Exchange.
