APPROVE 2013-14 DEICING CONTRACT AND PURCHASE FROM NORTH AMERIAN SALT
Background
Staff is requesting City Council approval to purchase Deicing Salt for the 2013 - 14 winter seasons from North American Salt. The contracted amount of salt for this season is 3,300 ton, at $67.71 per ton delivered and will be purchased through a State of Minnesota contract. This contract is in effect from June of 2013 until June of 2014.

By motion, approve 2013-14 Deicing Salt Contract with North American Salt for 3,300 tons of Salt for $223, 443.
