APPROVE 2014 CAPITAL EQUIPMENT PURCHASES
Background
Staff is requesting City Council approval for the purchase of capital equipment identified and budgeted for in 2014. All vehicles and equipment will be purchased through contracts from the State Cooperative Purchasing Program from various vendors identified below. The initial purchase of many of the items is the first step in preparing the vehicles or equipment for use. The Sewer Utility truck is over the estimated budget cost by approximately $3,000. The Finance Department has confirmed that there are adequate funds in the Sewer Utility Fund to cover the purchase. The budgeted amount displayed below includes the initial purchase, accessories, and excise tax on the truck chassis's.
