Background
A petition date February 6, 2015, was submitted to the City by Paul Heuer of Pulte Homes requesting vacation of drainage easements and street right-of-way. This vacation is being requested as the property will be replatted and new right-of-way and easements will be dedicated with the new plat. The property owner represents a majority of the affected property owners abutting this easement.

Recommendation
By motion, approve the Resolution.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition dated the 6th day of February, 2015, requesting vacation of drainage easements and street right-of-way for Outlots B, C, D, E, F, G and H, Glenn Meadows; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has reviewed the petition and recommends that the City Council hold a Public Hearing on the requested vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Blaine as follows:
1. The Council will consider the petitioned vacation of drainage easements and street right-of-way for the property owner.
2. A Public Hearing shall be held on the proposed vacation at 8:00 p.m. on the 19th day of March, 2015, and the City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and vacation as required by law.
