CAPITAL PURCHASE - 800 MHZ RADIO PURCHASE
Background
In the adoption of the 2019 Capital Budget, Council appropriated the funding for certain pieces of equipment in the Capital Equipment Plan. Pursuant to the City Charter, Sec. 6.05, staff is now requesting City Council approval for the actual purchase of the 800 MHz Radios (both squad mounted and portable radios). This is part of a scheduled replacement cycle of police radios. These Radios will be purchased through Anoka County Communications.
