APPROVE A TEMPORARY ON-SALE 3.2% MALT BEVERAGE LICENSE FOR SGT. JOHN RICE VFW POST #6316, OCTOBERFEST FUND RAISING EVENT

Background

Gene Stunek, the Commander at Sgt. John Rice VFW Post #6316, 1374 109^th Avenue NE has applied for a Temporary On-Sale 3.2 Percent Malt Beverage license for their Octoberfest Fund Raising Event to be held on Saturday, October 13^th from 12:00 noon until 10:00 p.m.  

The applicant has deposited with the City an application, the $50 license fee and a Certificate of Liquor Liability Insurance  covering this event.  The City has been named as an additional insured on the certificate of insurance.

Approximately 200 people are expected to attend the event.

Recommendation

By motion approve a Temporary On-Sale 3.2% Malt Beverage License for Sgt. John Rice VFW Post #6316 for their Octoberfest Fund Raising Event.
