Background
A petition dated November 14, 2013, was submitted to the City by Nathan Raich of 2904 Aspen Lake Drive NE requesting vacation of drainage and utility easement. This vacation is being requested in order to adjust the lot lines to build the proposed home and meet setbacks. The applicant is a single property owner who represents 100% of the affected property abutting this easement.

Recommendation
By motion, approve the Resolution.

WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition dated the 14th day of November, 2013, requesting vacation of drainage and utility easements for the westerly 5 feet of Lot 13, Block 2, The Lakes of Radisson 18th Addition and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has reviewed the petition and recommends that the City Council hold a Public Hearing on the requested vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Blaine as follows:
1. The Council will consider the petitioned vacation of drainage and utility easements for the property owner.
2. A Public Hearing shall be held on the proposed vacation at 8:00 p.m. on the 6th day of February, 2014, and the City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and vacation as required by law.
