AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO XCEL ENERGY FOR THE TRUNK SANITARY SEWER AND WATER MAIN PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $36,104.77, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 14-14
Background
The lift station that will be constructed with the City’s trunk sanitary sewer and water main project to serve the plat of Sanctuary Preserve needs three phase power installed through the plat to provide energy for the lift station. Cost includes running 1,365 feet of cable and a transformer to feed the lift station. Using three phase power allows for more efficient pumping and less energy costs to run the lift station. This cost will be assessed as part of the total project cost of Improvement Project No. 14-14.
