ACCEPTANCE OF DONATIONS FOR PARKS AND RECREATION PROGRAMS
Background
The Parks and Recreation Department receives donations from civic groups and businesses to enhance special event programs such as World Fest, Blaine Triathlon, Performance in the Park, and seven other community events. Over the course of 2014, the Parks and Recreation Department has received cash donations of $28,700 and in-kind donations valued at $9,500. The Parks and Recreation Department would like to thank the following civic groups and businesses for their donations: 21st Century Bank, Allegra, Andrea Studio, Big Dipper, Blaine Festival, Blaine Medical Center/MultiCare Associates, Blaine Youth Hockey Association, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chili's, Culvers, Edina Realty - Kris Lindahl, Envoy Mortgage- Nathan Raich Team, Financial One Credit Union, Great Garage Door Company, G-Will Liquors, HealthSource Chiropractic & Progressive Rehabilitation, Jam Hops Dance Connection, Kids Hair, McClellan Sales, Minnesota School of Business, North Memorial Health Care, Northpark Dental, NovaCare Rehabilitation, QC Dance, Rainbow Yo, Sarah Grace Photography, SPC Companies, Spring Lake Park Lions, State Farm-Tom Holland Agency, Suburban Imaging, Summit Orthopedic, Super 8, Target, Today's Window Fashion, Twin Cities Gateway, US Air Force, Village Bank, and Walgreens.
