CENTERPOINT ENERGY COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP GRANT

Background
The City has received a CenterPoint Energy Community Partnership Grant in the amount of $2,500.  This grant will help upgrade computer and projection equipment in the City of Blaine's Emergency Operations Center (EOC), which is located in the Mark Stack Room.   Emergency Management response (tornadoes, severe storms, large scale incidents, etc.) are often times coordinated in the EOC and requires Police, Fire, Public Works and other City Departments to coordinate efforts and activities.  This will help us manage information and be more effective when dealing with Emergency Management situations.

Representatives from CenterPoint will be here to present the check to Mayor Ryan.
