Executive Summary

Main Street 1000 LLC, is requesting to release Lot 5, Block 1, from the development agreement for The Lakes of Radisson Thirtieth Addition.

The City is requested to release specific lots from recorded development agreements on a fairly regular basis. In this instance, the property owner has requested that the City release Lot 5, Block 1 from the recorded development agreement for The Lakes of Radisson Thirtieth Addition.

 

In order to release the development agreement, the City Council must adopt a resolution that authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk execute all necessary documents.

WHEREAS, Lot 5, Block 1, The Lakes of Radisson Thirtieth Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota, EXCEPT Parcel 13 as conveyed by Warranty Deed Document No. 537394.003 and as shown on Anoka County Highway Right of Way Plat No. 95. FURTHER EXCEPT Parcel 4, 4A and 4B, Anoka County Highway Right-of-Way Plat No. 59 as acquired by Anoka County as evidenced by Final Certificate filed as Document No. 471621, be released from The Lakes of Radisson Thirtieth Addition Development Contract filed as Document No. 487236.001 and be released from The Lakes of Radisson Development Contract filed as Document No. 429663.0 is subject to a recorded Development Agreement and;

 

WHEREAS, the property owner has requested the City to release said lot from the recorded development agreement recorded as Document No. 429663.0 Torrens (recorded May 2, 2003), 1794906.0 Abstract (recorded May 2, 2003) and 487236.001 Torrens (recorded April 17, 2006) and;

 

WHEREAS, the City has determined that there are no outstanding development issues related to said lot and therefore no further purpose for the agreements.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Blaine City Council authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute all necessary documents releasing said Development Agreement for the following described property:

 

Lot 5, Block 1, The Lakes of Radisson Thirtieth Addition

 

PASSED by the City Council of the City of Blaine this 17th day of October, 2022.
