Resolution in Appreciation of Councilmember Wes Hovland
Body
WHEREAS, Wes Hovland has served the City of Blaine since 2000 as transportation committee member, liaison to advisory boards, and councilmember since 2003; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Hovland has served diligently, conscientiously, competently, and fairly in all matters related to the office of council; and
WHEREAS, the Blaine residents and businesses, present and future, are better for his having served.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Blaine expresses the gratitude of all to Wes Hovland for the loyal and faithful service he has given, by means of this resolution which shall be spread upon the permanent records of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Water Treatment Plant 4 equipment bay is hereby dedicated in honor of Councilmember Hovland’s commitment to ensuring excellence to the City’s core public services.
