AUTHORIZATION FOR MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH SOLUTION BLUE TO PROVIDE CIVIL ENGINEERING, LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE AND REGULATORY ASSISTANCE FOR SENIOR CENTER PROJECT
Background
The next step in proceeding with getting the Senior Center Project ready for going out for bids this winter is to hire a consulting firm to provide civil engineering services, landscape architecture and regulatory assistance for the selected senior center site. Staff has solicited three quotes for this work and they are:
• WSB $36,800
• Solution Blue $34,440
• Kimley Horn $35,850
Staff and our Architect, 292 Design, has reviewed the quotes and is recommending that Solution Blue be chosen to perform these services for the Senior Center project. These costs are included in the $5.4 million budget for this project.
Recommendation
By motion authorize the Mayor and City Manager to enter into a contract with Solution Blue to provide Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture and Regulatory Assistance for the Senior Center project in the amount of $34,440.
