BONDING FOR RENEWAL OF EXISTING PARKS DISUCSSION
Background
Some Councilmembers have brought up the idea of going to the voters to sell bonds for renewing/upgrading our existing parks. Attached is a graphic that shows when our 62 parks were developed and a memo from Jim Kappelhoff, Parks and Recreation Director, who spoke to the City of Roseville who has submitted a ballot question on refurbishing existing parks, laying out some of the steps they have taken.
