Title
APPROVE INSTALLATION OF NEW PROJECTOR, SCREEN, AND COMPUTER INTERFACE EQUIPMENT IN THE CLOVERLEAF FARMS ROOM

Background
The current video projector in the Cloverleaf Farms Room is beginning to fail, and is unsupported due to its age. At this time it makes sense to install a new projector that is compatible with the new projection standard of 16:9. The 16:9 aspect ratio is what is used for flat screen televisions, computers, tables, and other video devices.

In order to have an image size that is viewable to the whole room, we need to install a new, larger screen to accommodate the new video image. This project will also include a new Blu-ray DVD player and computer interface for laptop and tablet connection, as well as a new control panel for system operation.

The total cost for this project is estimated to be $17,579.41. A 10% contingency would bring to total to $19,337.31. This item was budgeted for in this year's cable equipment budget, and Tierney Brothers is the current State of Minnesota contract vendor.

Recommendation
By motion to approve a contract not to exceed $19,337.31 with Tierney Brothers for the installation of a new video projection system in the Cloverleaf Farm Room.
