Background
In 2005, Way of the Lord Church received a conditional use permit amendment to allow for 1,808 square feet of accessory space on their site.  At this time, the church would like to add 324 square feet of space to one of the accessory buildings to accommodate a new freezer/cooler that will assist in their food shelf project.  The accessory structure is adjacent to the northern property line.
 
The addition will match the existing building.  Because this is such a small project and it is an addition to an already approved building, the amendment request has been brought directly to the City Council.  The neighborhood surrounding the property has been notified of this request and this meeting.  
 
Recommendation
By motion, approve Resolution.

WHEREAS, an application has been filed by Way of the Lord, Inc. as Conditional Use Permit Amendment Case File No. 11-0036; and
 
      WHEREAS, the Blaine City Council has reviewed said case on October 6, 2011.
 
      NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Blaine that a Conditional Use Permit Amendment is hereby approved per Section 29.34 of the zoning ordinance to allow for a 324 square foot addition to the existing 1,088 storage building on the property at 804 131st Avenue NE based on the following conditions:
 
1.      The addition to match the existing building in terms of color and material.
2.      Any further additions to accessory structures on this site will require conditional use permit amendments.
