CONSENT AGENDA - Dan Schluender, City Engineer
Title
APPROVE PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON BALL ROAD, 93RD LANE AND PHEASANT RIDGE DRIVE
Background
Installation of parking restriction signs requires authorization by City Council. Resolution 84-128 passed by the City Council prohibits parking on all streets within industrial areas. Ball Road, 93rd Lane and Pheasant Ridge Drive meet the standards of industrial areas and therefore have been assumed to fall under this resolution. Due to upcoming road projects which will require State Aid review, staff is recommending that Council approve specific parking restrictions for each of the streets to remove any ambiguity. The regulatory signs proposed meet warrants established in the Minnesota Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
Recommendation
By motion, adopt the Resolution.
