NORTH SUBURBAN HOSPITAL DISTRICT TRANSFER OF FUNDS
Background
The North Suburban Hospital District was formed more than 50 years ago to create a hospital in the region. The region includes Blaine, Fridley, Hilltop, Mounds View and Spring Lake Park. The Hospital District Board voted in September of 2016 to bisband and subsequently Unity Hospital and surrounding land has been sold to Allina Health. On March 13, 2019 a resolution was passed by the North Suburban Hospital District to transfer the funds to the region cities.
Board Member Rebecca Trancheff will present City Council with a check from the funds transfer.
